Bio of Jordan Ritchie
My mother died a few days before Christmas 2015, having been diagnosed with a heart condition. At the time, it was discovered that it was in advanced stages to perform any corrective measures. A month after my birth, my mother passed. To increase the pain, my father abandoned me a month later and has not been a part of my life since, to the point of not signing my birthday certificate. My aunt became a mom to me, who recently passed away…

Bio of Jordan Ritchie Continued:
I am grateful that my uncle has picked up the full mantle. I honor of my mom and aunt, which is why I strive to do my very best in school and life. By God’s grace, I play multiple musical instruments, having developed a love for music over the past six years. This gift from God I strive to use as a blessing to others. Music has engaged me at my local church as a soloist and in the church band, the Pathfinders Band, for the church. I also have become the lead trumpeter for the Bahamas National Youth Orchestra. By nature, I don’t consider myself a public speaker, so playing musical instruments is how I express myself. I recently achieved a distinction (the highest mark) in the Grade 3 exam at the Royal School of Music. The day I start to make money from my music and academics, I plan to help others in need more than ever. Seeing people with nothing to eat is one of my biggest pains and dislikes, given my struggle to survive in life. Yet I can say God has never failed me. Hence, I look forward to the day when I can reach back to help NGO Life Path to Life and Blossoming Place Academy.
My Story has afforded me the drive to help others grow in the area of music, and have a burning desire to help others. I have no problem helping others in the smallest or biggest way possible. I love doing what I do and would not give it up for the world. Futuristically, I would want to be known as a philanthropist and someone who lives for Christ alone. To be an inspiration to others is my fervent prayer. Choosing to be a source of support and encouragement and exuding positivity for those around us, I desire to ignite a spark of hope in others. This is achieved by lending a helping hand or a listening ear, which can, in turn, inspire others to believe in their potential. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord” Plans to prosper you and not to harm you…” In conclusion, I would like to thank you, Pastor Scavella and the Path To Life Team for investing in my education and, by God’s grace, doing my best academically as I pursue my educational goals. May God continue to bless you and the Path to Life organization.
