Be Evangelism embodies the concept of what our evangelistic mindset is all about. It’s the nature of things. It is who we are before it is what we do. Every Disciple of Christ is Evangelism.

7S IMPERATIVES

7S Imperatives outline seven elements of Christ's methodology that every model of evangelism should follow, designed by Jesus and identified by Ellen G. White in Her book Ministry of Healing page 143.

PARETO PRINCIPLE

In the Pareto Principle, 20 percent of the people account for eighty percent of the production of any group or organization. This fact is mirrored in the local church. The big question is, how do we change this reality when research suggests that the gospel will not be extended to the end of the earth until
most disciples are intentionally engaged in evangelism? Will the gospel
be extended to the end of the earth so that the end can come?

Natural church development is the wave of the present, which is better described as the cornfield-type environment, preventing or minimizing the development of dropout; this organic, healthy process is going to have to be a reality sooner than later for the simple fact of its nurturing elements and love manifestation outlays.

WATER SPOT

The story is told of the difference between the American cattle farmer and the Australian cattle farmer. The Americans seek out a plot of land, fence it in and then drive their cattle to it. They enclose them with devices that pen them in. On the other hand, the Australians find water spots in wide-open spaces without fences. The water spots attract the cattle, and they never leave. This illustrates the difference between the organic and the corralling of cattle. Which would you like to be a part of?

WHAT DOES RESEARCH TELL US?

Research points out that present methods of evangelism narrow the enrollment of disciples actively involved in soul winning to mostly special forces points. This limits the potential sowing and reaping of campaigns. The gospel will not take its intended effect until the entire army is engaged. An air force alone cannot win a war; special forces alone cannot win the war it takes together with the arms of the army boot on the ground, the infantry.

Hence, public campaigns are rendered less effective because the groundwork is limited. Statistics support that at least one-third of those baptized outside of an organic setting become more settled than in the microwave popcorn environment, which tends to be
more prone to wonder.
